John Tesh Alive Music & Dance

Hey Blogophiles!  Excuse me while I depart from my regular blog and bring you up-to-date on our ALIVE Music&Dance project. 

Our desire for this project has always been for it to be an encouragement (especially to kids) to live a passionate life.

The joy I witnessed on stage while recording this DVD is now being 'caught' by many reviewers. Please indulge me today and let me share the latest review with you (see below).

"John Tesh Alive Music & Dance is a March PBS special.  It is a worthwhile effort, part of his Christian ministry. 

The music is upbeat and exciting, a mix of ‘Fame’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar.’

Tesh-author, radio show host and winner of many awards – is concentrating on his music these days and gets off to a kickin’ start on his latest release with ‘Alive Overture,’ actually a jazzy version of ‘Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,’ music by Beethoven.  The CD winds up with ‘Awesome God, one of those put-your-hands-together-and-stomp-your-feet rousers.  In between are such goodies as ‘Drumline,’ ‘Two Worlds,’ ‘Breakdown’ and the seemingly requisite song with a Latin title; you will want to play ‘Canta Domine’ several times.

Tesh plays a fair amount of piano on the release but leaves most of the excitement to his cast of about 100 – a huge band, large choir and dancers.

He wrote 10 of the 12 songs and co-produced the effort, which is aimed at all age groups. This disc will bring joy into your life."

I absolutely love the "John Tesh Alive Music and Dance" special and how it encourages youth to express themselves and their love for God in new and unique ways! I believe everyone who sees it will be blessed and reminded to find their passions again that may have been put aside sometime in their lives. I have always loved music and am going to be working on getting back into it after a few years of not being involved in , I have missed it more than I can say. John, you and everyone involved in this project have blessed so many and we hope to see more projects like this. I try to listen to some of it on the iLike site every day...it is so uplifting! God bless you all in everything you do and keep the beautiful music coming!

I truly loved the PBS special "John Tesh Alive Music and Dance" and immediately ordered your book and Alive DVD! It is refreshing to see someone so well known and respected, who takes seriously the ministry and outreach afforded them by by God's own plan in their lives. The unique way this DVD is put together to reach people in such a positive and beautiful way is not only fantastic, but also moving and inspirational!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us John and thanks to every member of this project. Anyone who has seen this has been blessed by it. I try to listen to music from "Alive" on iLike every day if possible! Thanks again and God bless you and your talented friends!
